Tomb of the Gorgoneion
late 5th century BC.
Discovered in 1960, the tomb consists of a large chamber with a double-sloped ceiling and a bench along the walls. The large wall frieze depicts a series of small trees with birds in flight or perched on branches. On the back wall, two young men are depicted between the trees greeting each other.
