Magistrate’s Tower

12th-13th century

This tower, believed to have been used by magistrates in the 12th-13th centuries, is situated between buildings with architectural continuity. The tower has a square plan and its masonry face is made of ashlars arranged in horizontal courses, bonded with lime, sand, and pozzolan. The portal with a segmental arch is located in the ashlar base. Above it, on the central axis, there is a single-light window with a round arch, which is surmounted by a projecting round-arched cornice in nenfro. There is also another single-light window with a round arch that has a plugged arch.
