Cristofani Tomb
first half of the 4th century BC.
The tomb was discovered in 1961 and consists of a single chamber with a double-sloped ceiling and three large wall graves (called loculi). The loculus on the back wall is in the form of an aedicule (a small temple) with a double-sloped roof and a relief columen. Depicted on both walls of the room and the niches are figures of dancers and musicians. The tomb is dedicated to the Etruscologist Mauro Cristofani.
